    Sales out of Personal Collection

Transfered a few LC9's, before they fell off the roster, into personal collection through A&D book, but no 4473 done. I know they need to be run back through the A&D book, but I'm unclear on the 1 year hold rule.

    1) Do these need to be held for 1 year before selling to a PP through an out of state dealer?

    2) Does the same apply if I sell as PPT at my location?

You don't need to hold them a year, you only need to run it through your bound book.

This means that you can do the PPT. It is questionable as to whether you can have another place do it since you would need to log it into your bound book, then transfer it to the other FFL (CFLC required) and then have the other FFL do the PPT.

If you ship the firearm out of state, there is no problem as long as you log it in from you, then ship it out.
