    It was a mistake on the FFL and it happens...normally a lease agreement works. You can have your wife write it up as you as the tenant and her as the landlord and post date it. And if you like this FFL, you would be doing them a solid. If not, it's not your fault.

      Make sure you both sign it, and I believe a photocopy of her DL is required don't quote me on that.

        No photocopy of her ID is required.

        A lease works. The FAQ says that it has to be notarized, but it doesn't under the CA PC.
