Keeping or discarding DROS paperwork

I had a customer miss their 30 day window so we had to redo the DROS. Is the first set of DROS paperwork that wasn't completed to be kept or can it be discarded. I couldn't find that anywhere.

My doj inspector said we had to keep it for 3 years. I just write expired on it and file it with my denials. My inspector also said we have to file denials separate from completed dros.
