    PPT Questions

It's been years since I did a PPT and I want to do one again (sell.)

    So, my questions are:

When does the money change hands?

What if the buyer doesn't pass his background?

If he doesn't pass the background, do I have to pay fees to have it DROS'd back to me again?

When is the gun technically no longer mine?

I'm assuming it's up to whatever me and the buyer agree to, but does the buyer generally pay the fees?

Anything else you guys can add would be appreciated it.

Money changes hand when agreed on by both parties

Buyer fails DROS, the firearm must be immediately returned to the seller.

No, DOJ will give us a new background number on YOU when they call us to say buyer was denied.

When you sign the DROS selling it, then its no longer yours

    Again up to your arrangement

Depends on the shop. Some don't want money exchanged in their store. Others don't have a problem with it.

When a buyer fails DROS, it's up to the terms of the agreement if and how much money is returned to the buyer.
