    lets talk bullet buttons!

i have a question i just started working for my lgs (ffl 01). I've been shooting all my life and know a decent amount about firearms. I'm fairly new to the whole paperwork and ordering of firearms….

heres my question. since we don't have an ffl 07,are we able to order non-CA compliant firearms and just add bullet buttons when they come into our store or do we have to go through a middle man?

i was just wondering this because the shop i work for has been going to a middle man to add bullet buttons on the Ak's
give 'em the whole 9 yards

A so-called a-salt can not be shipped into CA unless the FFL has the so-called a-salt weapon permit with the ability to "manufacture", or in this case un-manufacture the so-called a-salt weapon.

One option is to take the the firearm apart enough so that it is not considered a so-called a-salt weapon.

So, the answer is no, you can't.

The CA FFL dealer needs a valid CA DOJ assault weapon license, in order to legally receive/possess "assault weapons" in CA.

No assault weapons license equates to felony importation/possession.
