    Non-Roster Inventory

I recently finished all the paper work and jumped through all the hoops to become a California Firearms Dealer. I mistakenly ordered a non-rostered handgun by mistake. It is a Ruger LC9 with Viridian Green Laser. I want to get it out of my Inventory. Is There a way to transfer it to my personal inventory or do I need to keep until a LEO buys it to get it relieved. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You can have off roster guns in inventory, there is nothing wrong with this. I have over a dozen right now.

FFLs are not exempt from the roster so if you transfer it to yourself it must be SSE configuration.

Thanks, that answers my question. But I do have one more. I've put in my 1st 3 DROS. One is coming up on it's 10 day and is still pending. How long does it usually take to be approved / denied?

10 days, even if the person you are selling to is exempt from the 10 day wait.

They will all say "Pending" until day @ 240 hours from start. Denied can come up as late as day 9.. same with delays..

You could sell the off-roster guns out of state...gunbroker or other auction site.
