FFL transfer question - safety features removed from a roster HG

I saw a post for a roster gun for sale where the seller removed the Magazine disconnect.

Is there anything on the books that would prevent this pistol from being shipped from the seller to an FFL and then the FFL processing the sale to the customer?

The pistol in question is an LC9.
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

I would opine that if the dealer knew that the pistol was not in its rostered configuration, that he could not transfer it as a dealer transfer and could only transfer it as a PPT. But if the seller or buyer did not tell the dealer it had been modified, the dealer would probably assume that it was still in the rostered config and would transfer as he would any other LC9.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
