    WRONG SERIAL NUMBER ON DROS

If you process a DROS and discover several months later that the incorrect serial number was used, how do you correct it? (on a handgun)
From what I can see on the DOJ website, there is a form (BOF 958) that can be used to modify a DROS after 60 days. Is it just a matter of the dealer submitting this corrected form to DOJ? No additional DROS fee's or waiting periods? Anyone had this happen, and corrected it this way?

It happens. I submit the form per the instructions. No additional fees. Waiting period is impossible since you don't have the gun and potentially the person you transferred to doesn't even have it anymore.
