    Phantom DROS/Release

We got a random fax notice to release a firearm for a customer that never came in, never bought from us and we have no idea who they are or where they did the transaction. All the usual info is on the release, including our FFL and the customer's name.

DOJ also has no information other than, "Go ahead and release the gun." They are still looking into the mix up. This showed up in the system when everything switched over to the new DROS, so it seems to be related to that, but it's not our sale. Anyone have any issues with getting mixed up or phantom release notices? I guess we will file it away in a special new folder. DOJ is looking into it....
