    Stripped lower sale

I am a ca resident and a buddy (NV resident) wants to buy a stripped ar lower from me. How does this transaction need to be handled?

Do I have to ship to a NV FFL or can I just sell it to him next time I go up there?
Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're still not out to get me!!!

I believe as it is interstate that means you have to have it shipped from a California FFL to his Nevada FFL.

Legally, it just has to be transferred to the buyer through a Nevada FFL. It can be shipped to the Nevada FFL by the OP or taken to the Nevada FFL by the OP in person. No need to have a California FFL ship it unless the Nevada FFL has a policy of only accepting shipments from other FFLs.

As said, it has to go through a FFL in the state of residence of the buyer. It can get there by many means and shipping is not required as it can be hand delivered by the seller, as long as the FFL will accept it from a non-FFL.

Since the buyer is in NV, no DROS is required and I don't think that NV requires sales tax be collected, but the NV would be able to tell you that. The NV FFL might need a letter stating that it is a private sale, but then again it is NV, so they might not need anything, so you need to check with the NV FFL.
