Hi,
I did a PPT this morning. I have an FFL-03 and C.O.E. With the new drop down screen for exemption it does not offer a C.O.E exemption to wave the 10 day waiting period on a C&R pistol transaction. Did the law change for C.O.E starting Jan 1?
We noticed that if the store sells a pistol from its inventory that the C.O.E exemption is there to wave the 10 day waiting period when a 03 and C.O.E are used together.
Is this the new law and does this mean all C&R pistol PPT's will have to be held for 10 days regardless if you have an 03 and C.O.E being used together? And does this mean a C.O.E has lost 1/2 of its use in buying C&R's in 2014?
