    Dros combined

Now that handguns and long guns can be combined on one dros , what about C&R guns will we be able combine the two category's for the customers ? In other words , customer buys a new Ruger pistol and two C&R guns, one long and one pistol . Will it put it all together for us or do we still separate and charge dros for each category ?

If there's a limit, I don't think we know what it is yet. See this post for additional details.
        That's just my $1.05.

Even though there is only one DROS fee, each firearm for the same customer is getting it's own DROS number. Does that mean I have to have the customer fill out a 4473 for each gun separately?

Okay, my suggestions definitely need to be validated with at least the CA DOJ, if not the ATF as well, but I might suggest either:
            1. Using only the first (lowest) DROS number on the 4473; or
            2. Writing in all DROS numbers in box 21b.

Either way presents a problem if one of the DROS comes back delayed while the rest are approved. (What do you put in boxes 21c through 21e?) Don't think it can't happen either. My confidence level in things being consistent or making sense is nearing zero....

I called DROS hotline this evening and they could not answer my question, but said they will call back tomorrow. Will wait and see.

The way I was told by ATF in the past was to list all of the DROS numbers in box 21b. *note this was before this new system. I have never run into one DROS being approved and one not before for the same guy. That I can't help with.

Has the DOJ call back with a definitive answer with the 4473 issue? One per each firearm or can they be combined on one?

The CA DOJ has NOTHING to do with the Federal Form 4473.

As said, you put ALL of the DROS numbers for all the firearms which are listed on the 4473.
