In State Transfer Fees Question

I'm interested in purchasing a shotgun from someone in NorCal and I'm in SoCal so the firearm would have to be shipped to my FFL. Now aside from the DROS fees, does the FFL charge a transfer fee and tax on top of that for an instate transfer? Thanks

Tax no, transfer yes.

The FFL can charge any fee that they want. Check with the FFL before having the firearm transferred through the FFL.

If the seller is not a business and it is an occasional sale, as well as that being documented, then no sales tax would be due.
