    First time C&R Transfer

I have a customer that bought a modern rifle, C&R rifle and a C&R handgun from an out of state auction house. The auction house has a 01 FFL and shipped the guns to me to finalize the transfers. I processed the modern rifle as normal (4473, DROS). But the customer was waiting for his C&R FFL to be renewed so I was holding the C&R guns for him. Now that he has his renewed C&R FFL am I correct in that all I have to do is put the entry into my A&D book and no 4473 or DROS is required since it is going to his C&R FFL? Please advise.

C&R Handgun for sure has to be DROSd per CA. However if he has COE + C&R then it's cash carry same day.

Not sure about long gun. If he was already DROS modern rifle I would have put the C&R rifle on same DROS as it would have been done already.

You have to run the DROS on the C&R long gun and the C&R handgun.

No 4473 required on the C&R firearms.

If the buyer also has a COE then he can skip the 10 day waiting period on any C&R firearms.

Thanks for the replies. I will be doing the DROS for both C&R guns but no 4473. He does not have a COE so the guns will be in my safe for 10 more days.
