In years past if the pistol/hand gun had a lock in the box that didn't pass, had to have a receipt showing a lock purchase in the last 30 days, or the FFL was required to sell you a new lock. Fast forward to today.
I'm thinking there has been no mention of a lock thru the whole DROS process, but they will probably hit me with the lock when I go to pick up.
I have a bunch of locks in my safe, take one out. Stop @ Big 5 and buy another so I'll have a receipt, and then return it and get my money back once I pick up my PPT. I have the lock from my safe in my pocket and the receipt. The question of a lock never came up?
Have the laws changed??

Noticed it on the receipt and asked about it at Pick Up. I was told - THEY REQUIRE buy it.
I wasn't going to fight over $5 but one does get tired of the nickel-and-dimeing.
