    Question, c&r +COE vs HSC

    My HSC expires next year.
I recently got my COE to comply with our commisars new requirements for my ffl03 to receive through the mail.
Do i need to renue my HSC?
DOJ site says ffl+COE is only exempt for c&r purchases.
Is this the same thing DOJ tried to pull with the 1in 30 exemption?
    Thanks
I support peace through superior firepower.

The CalDOJ website is correct on this one. A C&R FFL with a COE only exempts you from the HSC for C&R handgun purchases. For any other handguns you still need the HSC. The exemption is in CPC Section 31700 (a)(6).
