    Winchester 1894 ORIGINAL "TRAPPER"

I am contemplating the purchase of an original 1894, Win. "Trapper", .30-30, 15" barrel.
It comes with the ATF NFA exemption letter, and authentication letter from Cody, WY.
Are there any other restrictions (as a dealer) I need to be concerned with?
Can it be readily transferred to another purchaser in CA?
    Appreciate any input...

Was this one manufactured prior to 1899? If so, isn't that an antique and not considered a firearm? Serial number would need to be 147685 or less for antique status according to wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antique_gun

NFA exemption letter makes this one like any other C&R long gun.

Even if it was a NFA SBR, it would be legal in Ca.
