Getting Rifle Shipped with Bullet Button

    Hello friends,

I'm looking for a Ruger SR-556 for a client. The only model I can find with a bullet button fixed magazine is the SR-556e model, which is inferior to the other SR-556's.

Question 1: Does anybody know of a distributor who will install a bullet button before shipping, along with a 10-round magazine?

Question 2: Can I order a rifle without a bullet button and install one myself before selling?

    Thank you very much!

    1. Do not know of any distributors that modify firearms to be CA legal.
There are out-of-state FFL dealers that do this for a fee.

    2. Only if you have a valid CA DOJ Dangerous Weapons license to sell assault weapons.

We do middleman work like this for some other dealers. Basically, we provide our FFL to the distributor/manufacturer, they ship the rifle to us. We install the maglock you provide for a fee then ship it on to you. If there's a mag in it, we'll turn it into a rebuild kit too. Not sure what we're going to do about mags in 2014. We may provide a 10/20 or 10/30 PMAG with AR type rifles for a modest fee if the receiving FFL does not have a large capacity magazine permit.
