    Becoming HSC Instructor

    Hey guys,

I just got my FFL and started selling a couple months ago. I would like to start selling handguns ASAP. I have taken my HSC Instructor course and submitted my application, but how long before it comes in? Is it too early to start stocking handguns yet? For those that are HSC instructors, how long did your application process take? Thanks,

    JP

It took about a month to get the certificate. Good Luck!

Thanks for the quick reply, I submitted mine about two weeks ago. The reason I am wondering is because I goofed. I DROSEd a SA revolver to my best friend with his HSC, but I don't think I am going to be able to deliver it before the 30 days is up because I can't do the safe handling demonstration. I am hoping it get's here before he has to do his 10 day wait again.

You can get a HSC instructor to sign off on the demo and then finish the transfer.
