as a suggestion, why not just ask for an 80% lower for Christmas and then complete it yourself...then there REALLY is no paperwork involved.

Yes, it would be legal and for intrafamilial long gun transfers there are currently no paperwork requirements. For handguns, you would need an HSC and also to fill out the form and pay the $19.Kemasa.
