Since it seems that some sole proprietors are not aware of this:

The question came up from a new FFL and a stupid FFL responded (he said that he had 11,000 violations in his last inspection and that he sells 30-40 firearms per month). Even with the above, including the referenced 478.125(e), he still does not understand this, but that is not surprising since he still does understand that it is illegal for a FFL to ship a handgun USPS unless the FFL fills out the Form 1508.
