I recently traded handguns with someone. I was including a holster and third magazine, so rather than us both paying $35, he covered my fee also. It really just depends on the situation. Be clear ahead of time, which of you is doing it so there are no surprises!

Well if you ask me I charge a 30% restocking fee when a buyer fails DROS! But you being a private party and its an occasional sale I wouldn't know what the normal amount would be.....probably zero. LOL probably something to discuss before you finalize the deal with the other party.Interstate Transfers $100 (DROS included with the price)

Hmmm... I'll probably set a $100 "restocking fee" for loss of time and gas. I was thinking of $50 but have to travel twice to get my gun back.
Like you've said "discuss before you finalize the deal with the other party couple that with Artema's "Be clear ahead of time, which of you is doing it so there are no surprises!"
