    PC 12316 - ammo sales and IDs

    So I know there are age restrictions for ammunition sales and selling in the stores is easy. Just ask to see ID and go from there. My question is for sales online, are we required to see an ID? PC 12316 makes me believe yes, but I've not found one online retailer that requires this (in CA or out of CA). If the answer is yes I need to see ID, would that only apply to sales being shipped within CA?

      No, you only have to be 18 or older to purchase. If you are not 18 or older you cannot buy (against the law). Its pretty simple.

          You missed the entire point of the question. The question is about age verification and online sales.
