Off Rooster M&P wanna buy

Okay here is the situation, friend has a M and P 9mm that is off rooster. Wants to sell to a California resident and do it legally. The SKU number what ever that means is not on California this particulare SKU number is set for Massachusetts complaint not California complaint.

Friend is from Montana, gun was purchased in Montana (there is believe that gun is not registered to anyone on paper as Montana doesn't send that stuff in. Montana hates the government) Friend doesn't have a California driver's license so private party transfer is out.

Is the only way to legally sell this gun to a California resident is the SSE? If so would anybody know of a gun shop that could do the entire SSE thing to the gun in the Modesto / Stockton area?

Yeah TRAP can do it assuming they have the parts. Their fee for a shipped in gun that needs SSE is $125 plus $25 for DROS.
