Estate Executor selling firearms

I think I have read something on here before regarding the sale of a firearm from the executor/ executrix of an estate. Are there any special forms, documents that need to accompany the sale/ transfer, or in my case when I purchase directly from them? Has anybody had to deal with this before?

I ask because we had a customer a while back come in with some jewelry he was selling from the estate and asked about firearms. He hasn't been back but I just want to learn about the subject for next time.
