    Shipping C&R

I've got a guy in NJ that wants to buy my M1. Can I ship it to a C&R license holder or must it go to a regular FFL? I figure with a copy of the receiving FFL I just go to FedX and ship it 2nd day air????
    Thanks

You can ship a C&R firearm to a C&R FFL in most other States via UPS or FedEx. If it's a C&R long gun then you can even use the Post Office to ship it. Long guns can go via ground service with UPS and FedEx Ground. However, everything I've ever read online and heard from people in New Jersey implies that you can't ship firearms to C&R FFLs in New Jersey. I'm not an expert on New Jersey law, but even C&R FFLs from New Jersey admit on the various C&R forums that they can't receive firearms shipments from out of state because of New Jersey's strict laws.

BTW, only handguns have to go overnight per UPS/FedEx policy, not second day air and long guns can go ground.
