    Home Based Friendly Vendors

I have only had my FFL for a year or so and I could anything pre-Sandy Hook and now am coming up short. It seems only brick and mortar shops can get stuff. Anyone have any suggestions? I have a lot of people that want to buy and I end up having to just send them to the shop down the road who are dicks. I need Glock 17/19, XD 9, M&P (9mm) and HK USP's (9mm). The guns are as rare as the ammo!

    Any help would be appreciated!

Same boat here. Maintain a good relationship with your sales reps. They are the ones that will call you as the stock arrives, before it has a chance to not make the online inventories.

it is like that all over for small time FFL's. I have FFLs call me all day asking me to be their distributor.
If I had extra stock to sell at dealer cost I would help out but right now everything is retail. If you are looking for something special and I have it we might be able to work something out.
PM me with requests. Keep in mind my guns sell fast to 48 other states so I might not have what you're looking for.

We might even be able to get a swap type thing going at a later date or I can contact my distributors on your behalf for guns. I get the best pricing on most guns due to my volume.

The problem that most home based FFL's have is that they do not "STOCK" or "MOVE" vary much product. In times like this when you need to get stuff from your "REPs" you are not going to be the first person they call. For the simple reason that time is $$$$. They only have so much time in a day to move what they have been "allocated". If a Rep calls a "Table top FFL" and spends 20 min's going over the list of stuff they have you will buy what you have "orders for" 1 or 2 things. If they call on a "Store" the store will buy "stock" to put on the shelf and things to fill orders.

So if you were a Rep would you spend your day calling on Table tops that are going to spend $1,000 in a 20 min call or a shop that spent $10,000 in the same amount of time and only spent that much as that it all the rep would give me "today" but will call me every time he gets allocations

Your best bet is to hook up with a couple FFL's and ride their coat tails. Hence buy from them at a small markup. You wont make as much but you will make more then you do by sending them down the road and KEEP your customers

Are you guys still having this problem? Are there any gun manufactures that won't sell to a home based ffl?

Some manufactures like Benelli and Kimber only sell to their stocking dealers (i.e., store fronts). Some wholesalers like Accusport and Ellott Bros only sell to store front dealers.
