Hello all,
Just ordered crate of mosins from a well known distributer as my first purchase on my recently issued FFl 01. I have been reading and rereading all the rules and regulations and my head is spinning. I do not want to make a mistake on my first transaction. My question is this : After receiving the shipment (making sure it comes with CFLC number or letter), Is entering it in the bound book all that is required? Seems too easy after all I have read. Thanks in advance for being patient with me.

So is this question too basic, or too stupid, or both?. Any replies would be welcome. There is no step by step guide for this, just endless pages of hard to read laws and regulations and a fine or prison sentence if you get it wrong. Thanks.

Yes, it is that easy. Most ATF inspectors will want to see each line completed in your A/D book, i.e., no ditto marks.

As halifax already mentioned, all that is required now is to enter each individual rifle on your bound book. No Cyrillic characters, if there are any.
