First time doing a transfer to a C&R holder

Just want to verify. I have a customer that has a current C&R FFL but no COE and he bought one modern rifle, a C&R pistol and C&R rifle out of state and had them shipped to me. For the modern rifle I know the process, but for the C&R guns, since he has a C&R FFL, am I correct that I don't have to do a 4473 for those two guns but I would still DROS them under C&R category? Since he has no COE, I know he is not exempt from the 10 day waiting period and that is not an issue.

You are correct. No 4473 on the C&R firearms because it is considered an FFL to FFL transfer by the feds. Use the C&R roster exemption to DROS the C&R handgun and DROS the C&R long gun like any other long gun.

The C&R long gun would just be a second firearm on the long gun DROS.

I am not sure that the C&R long gun would need to be DROS'd, but would have to check on that.
