Buying a gun with INF 1125 DMV record?

Sorry if this has been pounded to sand already but I have searched and have found just 2 threads that barely touched on this form..

I just bought my first handgun and trying to find a proof of residency. My DL has my parent's address in Yuba county and I'd rather not change this because I intend to get a CCW in the near future and its a lot easier in Yuba vs. Sac county address where I am currently living and where all my necessary utility bills are being sent.

Will the INF 1125 Driver's License Record count as proof of residency?

It will have my full name, registered address, and a legit government document so I hope this would work..

Also if all else fails I will request an address change. But, I already filled out all the DROS paperwork with my Yuba County address.. When I pick up my gun will I still be able to redo that paperwork and show my new license with updated address and a utility bill?

    Thank you

I don't know the answer to your question but Sacramento County is just about "shall issue" now.

It sure sounds like your actual residence is in Sac and that's the address you should be submitting. Maybe catching cases like yours is one of the reasons the gov asks for proof of residency.
