DOJ Letter Requirement by Glock

I won a Glock and am in the process to send the certificate and get a #G34. Part of the instructions from Glock/GSSF states I need to send a copy of a DOJ letter containing the dealer's California Dealer License Number. Is this the number to generate the approval letter/number to ship the gun? My dealer says he has never given Glock/GSSF a copy of a DOJ letter, but just a CFL number. He has dealt with Glock/GSSF in the past and doesn't remember a "copy of a letter" requirement. I don't either.

Have any dealers here received firearms shipments through Glock/GSSF without a copy of the mentioned letter lately?

Glock just e-mailed me back. The CFL# written on a copy of the FFL will suffice.
