Glocks not legal for sale in Ca

Lately I've been reminded by my Rep at a well known distributor that all Glocks are no longer legal for resale in California unless for LEO. On the last few Glocks I was able to get my hands on a label was attached saying quote: "Notice: This handgun is not legal for resale in California, excepting sales to law enforcement officers and agencies in full compliance with state law." Even though the Austrian made Glocks are still on the roster, and the roster says that any USA made Glock is not approved, can I still sell the Austrian made to the general public? In one hand they are not approved, in the other they are. What gives?

It would seem that Austrian glocks are OK. USA made glocks aren't. But it appears that the no USA glock is a administrative DOJ ruling. The glock guns on the roster are not marked USA/AUSTRIA on the info by the gun. You could argue that since the on roster glocks do not specify place of manufacture, all glocks are good to go. It has not be made clear, but my understanding is that DOJ considers 4th generation glocks to be a new untested version,so they are not on roster. I have also been told, that DOJ is taking the position that USA made glocks, are new versions that have to be certified before they get rostered.

And gen 3s from Austria are fine. All my local gun shops have been selling the gen 3s. They just don't stay on the shelf for very long.

Gen 3s with the standard Glock serial numbers are ok. ABC123. If they have an additional number or letter (I forget), then they are the USA made ones and you are not supposed to sell them.

Would that be a green sticker on the box? If so they put them on most Glocks
because the people applying them are not sure, or don't know.
