C&R Renewel delays

It's been three months since I sent in my renewel. I got a form letter from W. Virginia as per a phonecon with them.
Is anyone else out there having renewel problems due to an ongoing background check?

I literally just got my renewed license today. Took over 10 weeks for me.

I applied for mine 2 plus years ago and still haven't heard from the ATF. I was in contact with an agent, he said he needed to hear about some distribution of charges... ( a Kid up the road said I pulled a gun on him, when he was trespassing on my property), untrue. Charges dropped, county clerk had no record, I did no time, of course. I sent the letter from the clerk as requested from the agent, no word, no response from the agent. These guys are not "on it", lol. I feel like I need to apply again, and pay my $35.

I sent my paperwork back in Feb., license has now expired. I did a thread in the c&r forum, I'm getting no no where, emails or phone calls which wind up me leaving a VM. I got info from the board to call for a FoA, serice person sent me to another line that went to VM, so fed up i didnt leave a VM, sorry bad pun.
