    weird question kind of

so i ordered a lower receiver online and decided i didn't want it anymore. so i put it up for sale and have a buyer lined up. an employee at the shop not the ffl holder said that i may have to dros it and then have the buyer dros it after its done? doesnt make sense to me.

fyi i'm not selling for profit, selling it at cost so everything is all kosher in that regard.

Profit or not, you don't want it anymore and you arranged another buyer. Simply have them change the name it is under. There is nothing illegal about that.
