We are opening a new store and have heard that there is a rule regarding viewing firearms from or through business window. What we need to know is if it is a requirement that the firearms are hidden from passing by our business door or window. If anyone has any information on this we would be very grateful as I cannot find anything on this subject. Thanks:

I recall seeing something about that and that there are restrictions, but I don't remember where and whether it was policy or law or whether it was local or state.Kemasa.

Kemasa, thanks for the PC, but in your opinion can I depict a long gun? I see this PC are there any others that would regulate a long gun photo? I currently had a banner saying "we buy, sell, pawn firearms" with a Glock photo displayed on my store. After reading this we took it down, but want to replace it with something similar. Please share if you know anything that would prohibit me from putting a rifle up instead.CA PC 26820. No handgun or imitation handgun, or placard advertising the

My opinion would be meaningless. There could be local laws and the CA law could be viewed in warped ways. I don't know of anything in CA which prohibits a picture of a long gun, but that does not mean much.Kemasa, thanks for the PC, but in your opinion can I depict a long gun?
