    CA handgun roster question

Ok I'm trying to buy a buckmark pistol but its not on the Ca handgun roster but its almost the same as the other buckmarks only deference is it has a rail. Does this mean I can't buy this?

It has to be the exact model and if changes are made to the firearm, it would not be considered the exact model, which means that the transfer would have to be exempt or you would have to be exempt. It does not matter that it is basically the same. Notice that a Glock 17 OD is separately listed and the only difference is the color. Now, the CA DOJ is considering where the firearm is made to be a difference (see Glock listings).
