Beginning Jan 1 2025, PPT is no longer exempt from 1-in-30.

Unless one of the 14 exemptions apply. Normal citizens can access this privilege through the FFL-03+COE taxation path.CP 27535, Second entry.

Am I understanding correctly that if I buy an off roster handgun from a private party that DROS still has to be completed? Assuming both parties are CA residents.
