No Longer in Possession Needed with PPT?

This is the first time I am on the sell side of a PPT (to a CA resident).

Do I need to file a "Notice of No Longer in Possession Form" with the CA DOJ?

...or is that automatically handled via the PPT by the FFL?

    Many thanks!

    MF

    Not needed.

DROS switches the owner's name from seller to buyer, if the gun is in the AFS.

Might want to do that if legally sell out of state - CA gets no info from an out of state sale.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
