DROS Correction on number of long guns

I ran a DROS for a guy today that is purchasing two lowers. Out of habit I only indicated that one long gun was being transferred on the DROS. I went to the screen to correct the DROS, but I didn't see adding a gun as an option. How to do you change the number of guns on a DROS?

Because it's a rifle, it doesn't matter much. When I buy a single rifle, my FFL puts the number 4 in the box in case I want to buy three more rifles on the 10th day. Sometimes I do buy one more, sometimes I don't. No matter, after 15 days the CDOJ computer dumps it. Rifles are not registered at this time. All the CDOJ does during the waiting period is check your customer out.

That is what I do. Cross out the incorrect number and write in the correct number.

While I understand the reason, it is not a good idea for the FFL to do that since they are actually submitting false information. If you notice what you are signing on the DROS, you are also signing it and knowing that it has false information. Add to that, you are posting on a public web site which the DOJ is known to read.
