Anyone use Merchant Magic POS?

I am an IT pro and one of my customers is a local FFL. He just purchased a POS solution geared towards gun stores called Merchant Magic. He has asked me to get him some new computers and set up the new software. I have never heard of the software until today and there is very little information out there about it.

I was wondering if anyone on here uses the same system and what you think of it. If do use the software, is there anything you would have done different when you initially installed it? Also if you have any tips or tricks you could share it would be very helpful.

I am still using Quickbooks POS 6.0. I was looking at maybe upgrading this morning, but with all of the horrible reviews, I think I will just keep managing with what I have.

So what POS should I get if I ever decide to switch?

This Merchant Magic software seems like it is really slick. I won’t know until I try it though. If no one ends up chiming in on it I will make sure to do some sort of review.

I came across them at the shot show and was quite impressed. I'm a one man shop and only one location. There are a couple other systems out there that are about 5 times more expensive so I decided to spend some time at there booth and see what it was all about. It was pretty impressed with everything it did. I was/am using Quickbooks alone. I decided to go with the system and I can honestly say it was the best thing I did. When you talk to them they will tell you all the stuff you will need. Everything they recommend is tried and tested with there software. I went with everything they said and haven't had any problems. They set the whole thing up for you when you call them for the initial setup. I have been using it for less than a week now and have to say the tech support has been awesome. I would recommend them to anyone. Hope this helps
