    Shipping to an FFL

    Gonna make a trade for an AR lower to someone up in northern Cali. Do I need to only send a copy of my DL? Do I get any sort of paperwork sent to me showing proof of transfer? They guy gave me the FFL's info jus wondering if I'm missing anything

    Thanks for any info provided.

    It is up to the FFL. The FFL has to document where they got it from, but there is no legal requirement that they get a copy, nor is there any legal requirement that they accept a firearm from a non-FFL.

    Generally, there is no paperwork given to you, although you could ask.
