Clarification on 30 day waiting period

I bought a pistol December 16th and picked it up December 26th, it was a FTF here in CA. I bought another pistol online from an out of state private party on January 15th, did the DROS on January 25th and was told I can pick it up on the 7th (seems odd, but I didn't think about it at the time). I bought another gun online out of state from a PPT. When can I start the DROS for this, 30 days after February 7th? 30 days after January 25th?

How long until I can DROS my next one? 30 days from when?

So are out of state transfers treated like a new gun purchase ... one every 30 days? even if the firearm is used?

I just PPT'd a firearm on Jan 19th and will be picking it up on Feb 1st. I plan on doing another PPT on Feb 1st (No waiting period or limits on PPT's ... right?) and then also doing the out of state transfer maybe the middle of next week ... I should be good right?

Yes, interstate handgun transfers are subject to 1-in-30; PPT is for 2 participants with CA ID.

Handgun PPT outside city of Los Angeles is exempt from 1-in-30.

and Wow, I didn't know that within the City limits of L.A. it was that bad. Lucky for me, no such issues with PPT's in the Bay Area.

Would the above be aplicable to a interstate intrafamiliar transfer? I tried to find a thread on that specifically but couldnt. The WIKI referred to a thread here as well.

Yes.

Once it has to run through DROS, the clocks/calendars apply.

The FFL can mark it as exempt from the 1 in 30 since it is really a PPT, although the FFL is finding the buyer. The CA DOJ does not always pay attention to that field though.

If the FFL does not mark it as exempt, then it isn't.
