    UPE problem :-(

    Hi guys,

I used to be a very active member here, went shooting with many members here! Moved to AZ a while back for my job, and I have to say it's pretty great!

However, before I left, I had arranged to sell my KelTec P-11 in a consignment sale through Uncle Paul's Exchange in Ventura.

I can't find any info on them any more, and presume that because of the legal troubles that Paul faced, they may be out of business? Can't tell from here.

At any rate, I understand that the gun was sold, but I've never received any of the money for it. Is there any recourse? Is there even a business there anymore? Do they have any records for this sale? Does anybody on here know what happened to them?

I DID get a couple of emails from him where he swears up and down his innocence and he will pay me what is owed, but never heard from him again, and of course no check.

Any ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Paul, formerly from Ventura/Oxnard

Not gun related, But I took a colection of Lionel trains to a dealer in Aubern, CA. A few months later, He moved to a new store. 2 months later... he died.

I have no paperwork, just a statment of items I sent him. The store is gone. My trains are gone. And I found out that the State of CA ordered all items sold and the money goes the kids.

When I contacked the state, They basicly stated that the paper I had is worthless. I told the worker that the trains were stolen. She said "Well, The courts don't see it that way".

I lost over 1K. NEVER AGAIN.
