    Quick Question, quick answer please

When doing any ppt is a OHV(Off-Highway Vehicle) registration qualify as the secondary form of ID to go along with a CDL and HSC to complete the ppt?
and,.. when doing a transfer for long gun are the same conditions necessary as for a handgun? i.e. Two forms of ID and the HSC to complete the long gun trasfer?

    thanks in advance

It is not 2 forms of ID.

It's formally 'Clear evidence of identity and age' and 'proof of residency' and residency applies only to handguns. http://oag.ca.gov/firearms/dlrfaqs#14G, http://oag.ca.gov/firearms/dlrfaqs#33G

H in HSC stands for Handgun - not necessary for long guns.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Thank you. But I would still like a definate yes or no on the OHV being accepted as the form of residency then. Would you, as an FFL, accept a Off Highway Vehicle registration to complete a PPT? Supposedly it was used and accepted by one before... But.... that means nothing to if it should have been or not.. If you could clarify please

Does the OHV meet this description?
Current, government-issued license, permit, or registration, other than a CA Driver License or CA Identification Card, that has a specified expiration date or period of validity. The license, permit, or registration must bear the individual's name and either of the following:

The individual's current residential address as declared on the Dealer's Record of Sale (DROS) form

        or
The individual's address as it appears on his or her California Driver License or California Identification Card, or change of address attachment thereto.
I've never seen one; I'm also not an FFL.

They are good for two years and have an expiration date. I will accept them. Only your FFL can really answer that question as some FFLs don't know how to read and for some reason might not realize that is a government issued document with an expiration date.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.
