My wife and I have made the decision to get an FFL. Right now, our plan is a small mostly internet-based sales operation that also does transfers.
I know it's a broad topic, but we would welcome any advice people have on the pros and cons of going the LLC route versus sole proprietor. Other than the liability protection, is the added expense and paperwork of an LLC worth it for a small operation just getting started? Does anyone who converted to an LLC wish they had done it sooner?
