Who hasn't received Large Cap Mag renewal?

    Howdy:

We resubmitted our application and had it in the mail with our other CA licenses on Dec 19, which is admittedly a little late..

We have received all our other Credentials though, except the large cap mag permit.

Anyone else in the same boat? Just curious, what with all the buzz out there, wondering if it's mostly normal or if they are holding onto them.

    Regards,

I'm thinking we just sent it too late. They have good turnaround on the list letter and all, we got that back right away.

Our local government is the reason - they won't print business licenses till the end of Dec, we have to fight them every year and pay a $20 expedited fee for "printing" of the license to get it before Christmas. As a result, we don't send in our permit renewal till we have the local biz license. They don't understand why we need it sooner than anyone else.....

Suppose we'll just be waiting. Boss was fidgeting about it not being here yet.

Are you saying a license is required for pre-ban high capacity magazines? If so where do we apply, if we desire? Bob.

This is a FFL forum and the question relates to FFLs who can buy and sell so-called high capacity magazines.

I got my large-capacity magazine permit with my CFD a few months ago in 2012 but thought it strange that it was dated 1/1/2013-12/31-2013. I didn't use it in 2012 so it's a moot point if it was valid then or not. But I'm still curious if I could have used it then or if they meant to date it ahead.

We applied for ours back in Feb last year, and it came a week later. They always expire on the 31st, or so I am told.

The whole reason that we are forced to wait to get our CFD permit updated is because our village requires it's own permit, along with the biz permits and they won't do this until late december. Happens every year.

But we did get our CFD letter right before the 31st, just haven't seen the new Large Cap. yet. We are hoping it won't cause us issues on outstanding orders.
