I've purchased, shipped to and PPT'd all over town and the shops are really hit and miss. (with service and fees)

By far the best transaction's I've completed have been at Gussler's in Santee. (I think the fee was $45/$65 to have a rifle shipped in) Don, his wife and his son are good people to deal with. They run the business out of their residence and you get very personal "Family Owned and Operated" service.

Parallax Tactical (Off Eastgate Mall & Miramar) is the cheapest one.
Last I checked, they were $15/long gun and $25/handgun.

The image that you posted shows a DROS of $35 for consignments. The DROS fee is $25 and it is illegal to represent the fee as anything else. You should list it split out and not represent it as the DROS fee.

What fees can I charge for handling a Private Party Transfer (PPT)?
If the transaction is a PPT, you are restricted to charging no more than $25.00 in State fees described and $10.00 per firearm for conducting the PPT. For example:

For a PPT involving one or more handguns, the total allowable fees are $35.00 for the first handgun, and $31.00 for each subsequent handgun.
For PPTs involving one or more long guns, the State fees are limited to $25.00 for the whole transaction plus $10.00 dealer fee per firearm transferred.

Not so sure above is accurate, but someone else can keep me honest...

What fees can I charge in addition to the DROS?
In addition to the State's $19.00 DROS fee, you must also charge a $1.00 Firearms Safety Testing fee and a $5.00 Safety and Enforcement fee. If the transaction being processed is a dealer sale, consignment return, or return from pawn, you may impose other charges as long as this amount is clearly shown as a "dealer fee" and not misrepresented as a State fee.

The problem is that it is saying the DROS is $35, which is not accurate and is not allowed. The DROS is $25 and the dealer may charge a fee up to $10 for a PPT.

The issue is not the total, just how it is represented.
