    Gun serial number question

    How can I find out info on a gun serial number. I'm thinking of buying a older gun but I'm curious about the serial number

      It depends what you want the serial number to tell you. Do you want to know when the gun was made? Do you want to know if the gun has been reported stolen? Do you want to know if anybody famous ever owned the gun?
