$200 fee to do business with CA FFLs!

Just got done talking to a guy at:

    Quick Guns
    900 E Main St
    Mesa, AZ 85203
I was looking for the DPMS Oracle CA. Says he won't do business with CA due to the $200 Licence required to do so, I mentioned the CFLC, but he said no not that one. Anyone know what he's talking about?

Never heard of this. See if you can get him to cite his source.

Oh I tried, at first I thought he was confused with CFLC but he said it was a License. I went on and still looking for this rifle.

I've been looking for some rifles that are in short supply. A friend located 2 at a shop in Utah. I called right away and received the response "sorry, we don't do dealer transfers." Lost money for them. Frustrating for me and my customer.

Yeah Toby, it is frustrating when you find that "one" and the guy won't deal with CA. and no matter what you say they just won't do it. I think things are going to get worse too!

Guy in AZ is confused by something. Don't know what it is, but I know of no license required from out of state licensees to do business with CA FFLs or buyers.

We have a pretty good supply of Oracle's. They are here in the Los Angeles area. How many do you need?

I do believe the $200 fee is called "Getting your FFL." Squirrels.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.
