I was in a class with him in mid-October and he said that he was hoping to be open in 4-6 weeks which would put opening around the end of this month.

Do you know if he is selling/buying guns as an FFL or is he going to do gunsmithing as well?

He is doing sales for sure. I don't know about buying guns nor gunsmithing.

Whatever happened to Nick's Gun Works? I bought a couple of 10mm's from there a few years back but their website has been down ever since.

If I am not mistaken he (Nick's) got shot during an attempted robbery a few years back. I believe he is okay, not sure if the shop is still open though. Drive by it pretty frequently, but it never looked open even when I was positive they were still in business.

Nick is planning to close the shop @end of this year. 42 years in business, and time for retirement. That was one reason I was asking if anyone knew if the new shop was going to do any gunsmithing.

Lodi is a three hour drive away for me. I did a PPT for a Colt Double Eagle 10mm there and spotted a Wyoming Arms Parker 10mm. Had to make the return trip in 10 days.

A friend of mine txt me that he drove by the store today, and the roll down doors were up,and there were people inside painting. Hopefully will be open in time for a xmas present to myself!

This is the new gunshop on Lodi ave. I think it will be called Lodi Guns, but there is no name on the building yet. Business license is under LODI GUNS.

He used to have a website that had a list of all his guns but it has been out of order for about a year now. I called him a while back and he said something about getting new web service but nothing yet. Disappointing, he had some good stuff listed.

If you are talking about NICK'S,the web site went down because of issues with former employee's/relatives. It will not be back up. He still has a lot of older winchester bolt and lever action rifles on the rack. As I said earlier,Nick is planning to retire at the end of this year,or begining of next year.
